SATA CommHealth was established in 1947. The charity healthcare provider is Here to Care for the health of seniors and vulnerable in the community. The charity supports vulnerable seniors through various charitable programmes such as Doctor-On-Wheels, Homecare, Day Rehabilitation Centre and Community Hub (Fernvale).
Doctor-On-Wheels
Our team of a doctor and nurses run on-site visits to offer subsidised/free treatment of acute medical conditions, monitoring of chronic ailments and health education to the frail in the community and vulnerable seniors due to lack of means and are unable to seek medical care.
Homecare Services
Focuses on improving the quality of life for the needy and physically challenged and alleviating the
healthcare burden and medical needs for the homebound, benefiting the immobile, physically impaired, and non-ambulant persons.
Rehabilitation Services
Provides physiotherapy and occupational therapy services to facilitate a holistic road to recovery and offer strategies to vulnerable seniors, wheelchair bound patients and stroke patients.
Community Hub @ Fernvale
A one-stop centre offering health, social and financial assistance to needy residents and seniors living in rental blocks.
SATA CommHealth has also started community outreach to advocate Flu and Pneumococcal vaccinations, Advance Care Planning (ACP) and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), as well as the Strong Bones Programme to the seniors.
Being a charity, our work is only made possible from the donations we received from the public and corporations. SATA CommHealth is a registered charity with an Institution of Public Character (IPC) status. All donations are eligible for tax-deductible relief of 250%.
